EDUCATIONAL SERVICES FOR OVERSEAS STUDENTS ACT 2000 - NATIONAL CODE 2007 National Code 2007: Transition support handbook for non-government schools Under the ESOS Act, all providers of education and training to overseas students are required to comply with the National Code. As part of the recent review of the ESOS Act, the National Code has been revised and the National Code 2007 will come into effect on 1 July 2007. ISCA received funds from DEST under the National Code Transition Support Programme to prepare a handbook to inform and assist non-government schools to understand the requirements of the National Code 2007. The handbook contains a guide to the requirements of each standard for providers, as well as a quick compliance checklist and sample documentation. It represents ISCA's current understanding of the requirements of the National Code 2007. This handbook was updated on 28 September 2007 and has been checked with DEST. The handbook is available in both PDF format and Word format. The sample documents are also available as a separate Word document.
